About this Indica Strain

The vintage flavored cannabis strain Master Kush is an indica that’s been popular in Dutch Coffee shops since the mid-90s. It’s known for its sweetly pungent earthy scent and taste that has woody undertones. When harvest-ready, its buds are covered in a thick layer of frosty trichomes and hairs of stunning shades: oranges, reds, and yellows.

Both parents are landrace strains from the Hindu Kush region: Hindu Kush and Skunk. Master Kush is a unique tetraploid strain, meaning it carries four times the number of haploid chromosomes than diploid cannabis strains (diploid is the norm).

Its THC level averages at 16% and can get as high as 20%. Its high has been popularized and is one of Snoop Dogg’s favorites. It’s described as strong but not overwhelming, creating both a blissful mindset that increases creativity and intellectual curiosity as well as a full-body relaxation numbing aches and pains. Reviewers have noted that despite its indica properties, it can sharpen sensory awareness and make hobbies (and for experienced consumers, social engagements) more enjoyable.

For novice consumers, this strain may cause dizziness or slight paranoia if too much is consumed.

Master Kush won first prize in the hydro segment of the 1994 Cannabis Cup. When it was first bred, it was called High Rise because it was created on one of Amsterdam’s towering residential blocks.

Master kush review

So how about everyone try at least 3 batches before they get on here trashing strains because it helps NO ONE when strains get bad reviews after someone tries 1 batch that was probably grown by a f*ckin moron or a company that has no idea how to grow right.

It tastes like fruity skunk. Seems to be more heady than the 10/90 sativa/indica would suggest, at least with the batch I have. 5/5!

You guys are getting weak stuff that people don’t know how to grow or cure.. Just grew this bomb strain and many different phenos, all medium sized yields and different purple shades. My basement smells like grapey citrus and the hash I’ve tried from just trimming sends you places. Don’t let the people who have gotten weak batches fool you, it’s up to 30% thc if you know what you’re doing and use the right organics

Horrible cough with NO HIGH AT ALL. Now I know everyone is different so Master Kush may be decent for you, but for me? Waste of time and $. Didn’t even make it onto my scale of 1-10. This one scored a big fat ZERO from me

Stereobong You did get back luck. It’s a High Grade strain.

Master kush, i dont know if it was the harvest, the dispensary or anything, but it kinda fell off. Dont get me wrong, the strain its great, with small looking buds, great colors and a strange but tasteful aroma. the effects went from a heavy body high to leaving me almost sleeping. You can feel a slow rush of happiness and relaxation in the head. But, i didnt find anything that special or appealing. you can find better indica options there, but its not always a bad idea to try different strains, specially this one who has Kush in his name. Give it a try, maybe i got bad luck. only time will tell.

This potent indica hybrid, with a sativa/indica ratio of 10:90, can reach THC levels of up to 20%, which makes it one of the stronger medical strains around. Master Kush is a crossbreed of an original Hindu Kush strain and a pure skunk strain, though the exact genetics are unclear. These are amon…
