What are the specific Cannabis Seeds and how do I know what is best for me
Weed Seeds essentially are all Feminized. These seeds are created by putting together two female plants and creating the offspring with only an X chromosome. Feminized seeds are the most popular when buying Pot Seeds. The premium seeds we carry are cultivated from well nurtured feminized plants. Feminized Green Seeds always produce vibrant, dense, high yielding buds than the male marijuana seed. Plants that are grown from feminized Marijuana seeds are able to self pollinate. By doing so you will be able to produce a very high yielding crop that you can enjoy and smoke everyday when you buy cannabis seeds Connecticut.
Regular Marijuana Seeds
The Seed Fair also carry’s non feminized marijuana seeds as well. These seeds you can find on our site are called Regular Marijuana Seeds. These seeds are considered as an “unsexed” type of plant. Regular Weed Seeds are completely natural that have not been chemically altered or genetically modified in any form. They are bred from pure genetics one male and one female and produce a 50/50 mix. Feminized Cannabis Seeds are the most popular in Marijuana Seeds. However many still like buying Regular Marijuana Seeds so we keep a great selection available for all customers. Regular Marijuana Seeds offer a lower price usually than the feminized seed and often does a better job in keeping the genetics of each parent marijuana plant.

How to Germinate Feminized Marijuana Seeds
Feminized Marijuana Seeds should be germinated the same way as all the other strains. Our preferred method is to soak your marijuana seeds in water for 14 to 17 hours. Then you will need to transfer your seeds carefully into a paper towel. Fold the towel over two times and add a couple droplets of water on the towel. Place your towel of Pot Seeds in a dark and warm location with a temperature range of 70 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit.
Keep the towel always damp and this will help mimic nature to help your seeds crack and sprout. Once the marijuana seeds have incubated between 2 to 7 days depending on the strain you chose, there should be a white root starting to show. Once this root (known as a tap root) reaches one half inch, you can finally transplant the seed into your growing medium. You will need to poke a hole with a pencil (1/4 inch) and drop the seed making sure the tap root is facing down. Water the soil lightly to keep it moist a couple times per day. When your leaves from your Cannabis Seed starts growing out you are on the first start to growing your marijuana plant.

Cannabis Legalization in Connecticut
Cannabis seeds are now federally legal, but what about their legal status in Connecticut when you Buy Cannabis Seeds Connecticut ?
On June 17, 2021, the Connecticut Legislature joined the other 19 states in passing a bill allowing the state to legalize the use of marijuana by individuals 21 years of age and older. Governor Ned Lamont subsequently enacted the bill on June 22, 2021. As of July 1, 2021, adult cannabis use is legal in Connecticut.
However, the approximately 300-page law has many nuances, and these nuances will unwind in the coming weeks and years. Consequently, the municipalities and local police are still studying the new regulations and deciding how to proceed, as the drug is now legal for the first time.
Regulations on possession, use, and growing of cannabis in Connecticut
This Senate Bill 1201 legalizes the use of marijuana by adults 21 years of age and older, with no more than 1.54 ounces of marijuana carried by individuals, and no more than 5 ounces of marijuana should be at home or locked in a vehicle or box. Moreover, as of July 1, 2023, all adults over 21 years will be allowed to grow six cannabis plants at home.
Furthermore, the SB 1201 reduces the penalty for a misdemeanor of adult possession of up to 1.5 ounces of marijuana (previously punishable by one year’s imprisonment and a fine of $1,000) to a non-criminal offence, which can impose a fine of $150 for time and time without arrest or detention and no criminal record. The new law also reduces penalties for possession of marijuana implements.
Eliminating petty crimes related to marijuana will help many people get better job opportunities, thereby boosting Connecticut’s economic growth.
Stages of cannabis growth
Let’s look at them one-by-one because each stage of growth can have different effects on how much THC and other cannabinoids are produced. The two stages of growth that will have the most impact on your high are flowering and late flowering.
First Stage of Growth – Vegetative
This stage begins immediately after you germinate your marijuana seeds . Prior to this stage, your plants will be in a dark environment with the only light being provided by the sun through a window or grow lights if you are using indoor setups or greenhouses. During vegetative growth , cannabis plants are growing rapidly so they require plenty of darkness along with 18 hours of light every day for around 4 weeks. Outdoor growers can expect their plants to reach about 20 inches tall during this period while indoor growers can expect their plants to get taller than usual due to them receiving more light. Your plants will also alternate between having six and twelve hours of darkness per day. If you are growing in a hydroponic setup, make sure to check your pH levels and nutrient levels because outside factors can affect both these parameters which can lead to problems like deficiencies and burn marks.
Second Stage of Growth – Flowering
Many growers refer to this stage as flowering because it is when buds start forming on the plant that contain cannabinoids such as THC, CBD, CBN, etc. This process typically starts when the plants reach about 3-4 weeks after their seedlings have sprouted at which point they will need 12 hours of darkness every night with 18 hours of light during the day if you want them to grow properly. It is widely believed that photoperiod strains will begin to flower after they have received 12 hours of darkness for about three weeks , but some growers think this is an overly simplified statement.
The truth is that Photoperiod strains may start flowering anytime between 3-6 weeks, so you shouldn’t assume your plants are going to follow a set schedule with regards to when they’ll start flowering until you are past the third week. Approximately 4-5 weeks later, most indoor growers will be able to see their buds forming on the exterior of their plants with the exception being auto-flowers. Once this happens, something called ‘stretching’ occurs which can cause your plant’s height to increase substantially if left untreated. Most growers choose to top their plants at around this point, but it is perfectly fine to do so earlier if you wanted to. In fact, some growers may top their plants at around week three in order to promote a healthier vegetative growth period which will allow them to grow larger and faster when the plant enters its flowering stage a few weeks later.
As mentioned, auto-flowers will generally begin forming buds after about 3-4 weeks of being in the vegetative stage. Since they are not affected by light schedules that normal photoperiod strains are , this allows them to be ready for harvest around the same time every year . The other important difference between auto-flowers and photoperiod strains is how their height changes during the course of each stage of growth. Auto-flowers will grow to about double their vegetative height at the end of the flowering stage. Some growers may want to top auto-flowering strains or grow them as multi-branches to control their height, but many growers will simply let autos do their own thing and won’t bother growing them any differently from photoperiod cannabis plants. All these tips are important when you buy cannabis seeds Connecticut.
Third Stage of Growth – Late Flowering
If you are growing a strain that is not an auto-flower , then this is typically a term used by breeders who will begin harvesting around week six after the seeds have germinated. The reason why it’s called ‘late flowering’ is because it can take up to 6 weeks for your plant’s buds to fully mature during which time they use up all the nutrients they have stored in their leaves.
Most growers will stop giving water to their plants around this time because the buds will begin withering which can cause bud rot if you don’t let them dry naturally. You should also cut off all the fan leaves you may see on your plant’s exterior once it has reached week 6 of flowering unless you are growing an OG Kush strain, in which case the fan leaves actually help increase resin production so feel free to leave them be. The final part of the growth cycle is harvesting and curing your plants which you can read about here.
