Did Jesus Smoke Weed?

Jesus Christ was a Jewish preacher and religious leader who became the central figure of Christianity, as they believe he is the Son of God. After he was baptized, Jesus began his own ministry, preaching his own message until he was arrested and tried by the Jewish religious authorities. Jesus was turned over to the Roman government who consequently crucified him. His followers believed that he rose from the dead, and eventually formed into a group which became the Christian Church. Now, his birth is celebrated annually on Christmas, his crucifixion is honored on Good Friday, and his resurrection is celebrated on Easter by his followers and supporters of the Christian faith.

Jesus was known by his disciples as Christ, or “the anointed one” who reached a spiritual level with the help of some cannabis oil, according to cannabis historian Chris Bennett. Jesus’ life falls nicely within the timeline of the ritualistic use of the Judaic anointing oil which contains cannabis. According to the Old Testament, the recipe for the anointing oil contains nine pounds of cannabis. Jesus anointed his disciples with the oil and encouraged them to do the same with other followers. The oil was supposedly responsible for healing a number of ailments, thanks to Jesus Christ.
