Experimental Results [ edit ]

I’ve been running a test setup on my server with Agrarian Skies 2.1.2 to see what the probabilities of each output are for each material. Here are some results. –timrem (talk) 21:39, 8 May 2014 (CEST)

I’m guessing you’re using a more sophisticated way than just using Autonomous_Activator and counting the outputs? What are your ways, AE, Barrels? I’m guessing you’re also using 8 or 16 sieves? Question mark?Imanton1 (talk) 02:44, 9 May 2014 (CEST) Separate AE networks for each input. Filled a 64k cell with the input, then set up a sieve with 5 Autonomous Activators pointing at it. Export bus to put the sand into one of the Autonomous Activators, with a vacuum hopper on an import bus to get the output. Each of dirt/sand/dust/etc has one of these setups, and I chunkloaded the thing and let it run. It was all set up in creative, on a different island than I’m actually playing on. –timrem (talk) 02:53, 9 May 2014 (CEST) Request to hide/remove statistics below? the NEI/EN overlap is evilly large Imanton1 (talk) 11:11, 18 May 2014 (CEST)

no room for all mats for sand sieve

The sieve got a problem with sand and all mods enabled (Ores, Seeds, Thaumcraft, AM2, AE2). All recipes together need 20 internal buffer for all mats for sand. The maximum availible internal space was 18 (got from NEI). If you use sand on this condition the client crashed.

Can you provide a crash log? I run with every mod in dev and have never crashed, although the NEI layout certainly looked a bit strange.

  • I was looking at our config and found ore probabilities for some ores was setting to 0 by our mod pack designer. We will create a new pack at the moment. So your SieveRegistry.register function will add a rarity value 0 and the Random.nextInt function throw the exception.

What is the correct ore drop value for deactivation such drop?

    • 2015-04-27T07:56:24+00:00
  • There hasn’t been one previously. I will add that 0 does not register the reward.

  • 0. Some operator could use -1 for deactivating recipes. :)” >

You should check for >0. Some operator could use -1 for deactivating recipes. 🙂

  • Can you create a Beta fix as soon as possible. So we can continue with our tests. Thanks

  • While 0 should be an option, I use 2000000000. I’m okay with my players having a 1 in two billion chance of getting something. Well, these days I use minetweaker now that Mike and the modtweaker guys fixed that.
