Cleveland Seed Bank wants to help you get your garden growing and Shaker Library has the books to help teach you how. And it’s all virtual!
Last spring, Shaker Library worked with the Cleveland Seed Bank and opened a seed library in an old-fashioned card catalog at Main Library. Now that libraries are closed, the Cleveland Seed Bank has gone virtual. Growers can checkout up to 5 seed packets per month from a selection of 24 organic, open-pollinated herb, vegetable, and flower seeds. Seeds will be shipped within one to two weeks. In May, it’s time to start seeds and plant seedlings.
Here’s how to use the Virtual Seed Library and Get Growing:
- Open the online checkout form
- Fill it out and submit it
- Receive your seeds in the mail
